    "Либерейтор"
    Радикальная общественно-политическая газета аболиционистов [ abolitionists], издававшаяся в г. Бостоне У. Гаррисоном [ Garrison, William Lloyd]. Выходила в 1831-65; печатный орган Американского общества борьбы с рабством [ American Anti-Slavery Society]. В еженедельнике печатались статьи, содержавшие требования немедленного освобождения рабов. Рабовладельцы даже обвинили Гаррисона в том, что публикации стали причиной восстания рабов под предводительством Ната Тернера [ Nat Turner's Rebellion]. Несмотря на то, что "Либерейтор" издавался небольшими тиражами, он широко стал известен благодаря прессе Юга [ South], в которой его многократно упоминали и цитировали

    liberator;
    el Libertador [en Latinoamérica] the Liberator [name given to certain leaders of the fight for independence from Spain]
    LOS LIBERTADORES AMERICANOS
    In the struggle for freedom in the early decades of the nineteenth century, the supporters of Latin American independence had to contend with more than just the defenders of Spanish monarchical rule. They had to work out constitutions which would consolidate the freedom they had achieved. They also had to ensure order and stability, while developing the political structures needed by the newly independent states. The leading figures of these military and political struggles have become heroes both for their own countries, and, collectively, for all of Latin America. They include Simón Bolívar (1783-1830) who was active in gaining independence for Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia; José de San Martín (1778-1850) who fought in Argentina, Chile and Peru; and Bernardo O'Higgins (1778-1842) who was active in Chile and Peru.
